The CMA's were on tonight.  I haven't seen a better awards show recently.  Here is a list of the winners so far:

  • Single of the Year:  Lady Antebellum - "I Run To You"
  • Song of the Year:  Jamey Johnson - "In Color"
  • Vocal Group of the Year:  Lady Antebellum
  • New Artist of the Year:  Darius Rucker
  • Album of the Year:  Taylor Swift - "Fearless"
  • Musician of the Year:  Mac McAnally
  • Vocal Duo of the Year - Sugarland
  • Music Video of the Year:  Taylor Swift - "Love Story"
  • Male Vocalist of the Year: Brad Paisley
  • Female Vocalist of the Year: Taylor Swift
  • Entertainer of the Year: Taylor Swift
On Twitter, there was a poll going around asking if she deserved it or not.  Why wouldn't she?  She either wrote or co-wrote all of her own songs.  She rejected a record deal when she was 15 because they wouldn't let her record her own songs.
